• Begin by praying for the person you want to reach, asking for God’s guidance and the opening of their heart.
• Pray for yourself, that you will be a clear and compelling witness.
• Get to know the person and show genuine interest in their life.
• Find common ground and build trust through shared experiences and conversations.
Explain God’s love for them and the gift of salvation through Jesus.
• Share how Jesus’ death and resurrection paid the price for their sins, offering forgiveness and eternal life.
• Use tools like the Bridge Illustration or One Verse Evangelism to visually explain the gospel (e.g., Romans 6:23).
• Share your personal story of how Jesus has impacted your life.
• Be authentic and vulnerable, allowing them to see the change Jesus has made.
• Clearly invite the person to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
• Explain that this involves confessing their sins, believing in Jesus, and receiving Him into their heart.
• Lead them in a prayer of salvation if they are willing.
• Affirm their decision and offer resources like a New Testament or Bible.
• Encourage them to find a church community where they can grow in their faith.
• Continue to pray for them and offer support as they begin their journey with Jesus.
• Remember that leading someone to Christ is a process and may not happen overnight.
• Be patient, loving, and persistent in your efforts, allowing God to work in their life.
